Emily is an Accountant by qualification but a trainer by vocation. In 2002, she graduated from Dundalk Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting & Finance. Following this she entered into practice accounting while pursuing an ACCA Professional Accounting Qualification. In 2004 she moved from practice into industry and accounting at a business management level, and to date still works in this area; now however on a part-time basis. From 2004 she has also worked as a subcontractor to Midland Training firstly in the accounts area and in later years in assisting Melanie developing training programmes. The decision was made in 2010 to join Midland Training as a trainer.
Throughout her career to date Emily has trained individuals in all aspects of accounts and business. She has been a personal tutor to Second & Third Level students from 2003, helping students to reach their full potential. In 2010, Emily completed the FETAC Level 6 Train the Trainer in order to pursue her vocation for training further. Following on from this she has been fortunate to have delivered a number of FETAC modules in Accounts and Payroll, and also a module of ICM Certificate in Accounting & Finance.
Emily’s love of training shines through in all of her training courses. She has a unique enthusiasm that is infectious and uplifting. Her trainees feel empowered and energised at the end of the training session.
